WWE 2K24 Patch Unearths Concealed Character Treasures

A WWE 2K24 content creator has unearthed hidden models within Patch 1.10, revealing a significant addition of new characters, potentially unlockable via MyFaction. This follows the pattern of surprise content drops, like the weapon additions in Patch 1.08. The inclusion is notable, especially considering MyFaction's Persona cards – unlockable characters usable beyond MyFaction – were introduced to address previous criticism about exclusive content being locked within this mode. This update suggests a substantial effort to address player feedback.

WhatsTheStatus, a prominent WWE 2K24 content creator, highlighted the discovery of six "Demastered" MyFaction models: Xavier Woods, Michin, Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez, Bianca Belair, and Roman Reigns. While their status as Persona cards remains unclear, WhatsTheStatus confirmed a Randy Orton '09 model as a Persona card, showcasing the official art featuring the Persona tag and confirming its status as a Collection Reward.

The patch also includes the upcoming Post Malone & Friends DLC pack, featuring Post Malone, The Headbangers, Sensational Sherri, The Honky Tonk Man, and Jimmy Hart as a manager. This, combined with model and entrance fixes for Becky Lynch '18 and Chad Gable '16, makes this one of the most substantial updates since the game's release.

Despite the additions, the difficulty of unlocking MyFaction Persona characters remains a point of contention. Previously teased Persona cards were linked to MyFaction Oddities cards, which themselves proved difficult to obtain, with some assets, like Trick Williams '19, still missing. Players hope for alternative unlock methods beyond card collection and Live Events.

Patch 1.10 also features various improvements: general stability enhancements, gameplay refinements, updated entrance calls and commentary, fixes for redundant sounds and incorrect text displays, and Universe mode enhancements including the addition of the WrestleMania XL (Night) arena and fixes for rivalry actions, referee attires, and MITB match win conditions. The addition of support for the new Post Malone & Friends Pack moves is also included.
