Fresh from Pocket Gamer Connects London, we got hands-on with some exciting new games. One standout was the word-based puzzler, WordPix.

WordPix challenges you to guess words based on simple images. Think "lizard" for a scaly reptile, or "capybara" for a specific rodent. The core concept is straightforward, but it's a fun way to exercise your brain on the go.

To keep things interesting, WordPix offers various modes: solo and multiplayer options, "Beat the Boss" challenges, daily "Word of the Day" and "Quote of the Day" puzzles, and even a Sudoku mode. Plenty to keep you engaged!

WordPix's appeal is clear: a clean, user-friendly interface, an easy-to-grasp concept that gradually increases in difficulty, and plenty of variations to maintain player interest. We're hoping to see more content added as the game launches globally this year. Currently, it's available on iOS in the US and UK, and on Android in the UK.
