What if superheroes weren't always… good? This question fueled much of the conversation surrounding superhero films in the 2010s. While shows like *The Boys* explored this theme with hyper-realistic, gory live-action, Prime Video's *Invincible* tackles the moral complexities of superhero life through the lens of its vibrant, comic-book-inspired animation. The result is a brutally honest and equally gruesome portrayal of the superhero world, boasting compelling characters, intricate powers, and exceptional writing—a standout in adult animation.
Following a shorter-than-usual break between seasons, *Invincible* Season 3 arrives on streaming just one year after Season 2. If you're wondering where to stream Season 3 or are ready to dive into the series for the first time, read on.
Episodes 1-3 are now available! Watch it on Prime Video.
Invincible Season 3 streams exclusively on Prime Video. Standalone Prime Video subscriptions start at $8.99/month, or you can access it with an Amazon Prime membership, which begins at $14.99/month and includes various Amazon benefits. A 30-day free trial is also available.
Invincible Season 3 premiered with three episodes on February 6th. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays until mid-March, with no mid-season break. (Prime Video clearly learned from the Season 2 mid-season break feedback!) Like previous seasons, Season 3 will consist of eight episodes.
Here's the complete episode release schedule:
Includes INVINCIBLE comic issues #0-47 (trade paperback volumes 1 through 9)
Season 3 picks up where Season 2 left off, following Mark Grayson as he grapples with his superhero identity, navigating his personal life and the complex web of heroes, villains, and morally ambiguous figures. For newcomers, here's the official synopsis, based on Robert Kirkman's comics:
"Seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson is just like every other guy his age—except his father is Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet. As Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father's legacy may not be as heroic as it seems."
Invincible has already been renewed for a fourth season, announced shortly after the Season 2 finale at San Diego Comic-Con. While Seasons 2 and 3 aired relatively close together, there's no confirmed release date for Season 4. Hopefully, taking into account fan feedback on the breaks between seasons, *Invincible* Season 4 will arrive sometime in 2026.
Created by Robert Kirkman, based on his comic books (co-created with Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley), and with Simon Racioppa as showrunner, *Invincible* boasts a stellar voice cast. To avoid spoilers, here are some of the key voice actors:
Additionally, Deadline reports that Aaron Paul, Simu Liu, Jonathan Banks, Kate Mara, Xolo Maridueña, John DiMaggio, Tzi Ma, Doug Bradley, and Christian Convery will join the cast of *Invincible* Season 3.
