Excitement is building as we approach the much-anticipated return of the beloved Call of Duty Warzone Verdansk map, set to be revealed on March 10. Activision had previously announced in August that Verdansk would be making a return to Warzone, but only hinted at a "spring 2025" timeframe without specifying a date. Now, a pop-up in the Call of Duty shop titled "The Verdansk Collection" and a countdown ending on March 10, 2025, has set the stage for its comeback, as reported by InsiderGaming.

The teaser features a tri-color sketch depicting an alpine scene complete with snow, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane—elements iconic to the original Warzone sandbox. This nostalgic landscape was replaced by Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and then completely overtaken by Caldera in 2021. Currently, the only way to experience Verdansk again is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. This news comes as a thrilling reversal of the 2021 statement that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back."

In related news, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 is now live, introducing five new Multiplayer maps—Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind—along with the return of the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, new weapons, operators, and a high-priced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event. Meanwhile, Warzone has seen a more modest update as the development team focuses on addressing severe issues, including gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.
