Author:Kristen Update:Mar 21,2025

Following the release of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Koei Tecmo delivers another exciting title, Warriors: Abyss, a fresh take on the musou genre. This new roguelite, featuring familiar faces from the Warriors series, is available now.

Showcased during today's PlayStation State of Play, Warriors: Abyss allows players to assemble a squad of characters and battle through hordes of enemies. The isometric perspective evokes the feel of Diablo and the roguelite Hades.

Players will assemble a team to confront the forces of "hell," battling demonic foes. The gameplay trailer featured characters from across the Warriors franchise, including Zhou Yu, Nobunaga Oda, and Sun Shang Xiang.

PlayAccording to the PlayStation Blog, characters can be recruited and added to your team, providing additional summoning abilities. Players can utilize up to seven active heroes in battle, with a roster of 100 warriors available at launch.

Koei Tecmo plans to expand the character roster with additions from the Jin kingdom in Dynasty Warriors, and has hinted at even more characters down the line, potentially including those outside the Warriors series.

Warriors: Abyss is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch release is scheduled for February 13, 2025. Players who purchase the game before March 14, 2025 will receive an in-game Dynasty Warriors Costume Set.
