Warframe Android Beta Coming Soon

Warframe, Digital Extremes' acclaimed multiplayer action-RPG shooter, arrived on iOS in February 2024. Following its successful launch, the game recently opened Android pre-registrations. Now, Warframe prepares for its highly anticipated Android closed beta test – marking a major milestone for mobile gamers.

Warframe Android Closed Beta: Key Details

Digital Extremes unveiled the news during TennoCon 2025, with the beta slated for Fall 2025. Like the iOS beta, selected participants will receive invites via the email linked to their Warframe account.

New players should create a Warframe account now. Visit the official website to register or pre-register for Android access.

The closed beta delivers the complete Warframe experience, including confirmed controller support. Compatible devices include Bluetooth controllers (DualSense, Xbox Wireless) and USB options like Razer Kishi and Backbone.

Some temporary restrictions apply: cross-platform play and voice chat remain unavailable during testing. Notably, the beta won't feature monetization mechanics unlike the full game.

All beta progress will reset post-testing – your achievements won't transfer to the official mobile launch.

What Makes Warframe for Android Special?

Originally announced in 2021 for mobile, this third-person shooter features 5 expansions and 30+ narrative quests. Players can unlock 57+ unique Warframes and explore vast systems – all free-to-play.

Pre-register now via Google Play Store to receive the exclusive Cumulus Collection at launch.
