World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.

The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to prevent wasted in-game currency. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used again.

This automatic conversion, detailed in a forum post by community manager Linxy, ensures players don't retain useless currency entries. While a release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule and considering the ongoing Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events.

This timing means the conversion will likely occur after the Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, can be used in Timewalking events, with all associated rewards remaining permanently accessible. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1 launches to claim their converted badges.
