How to Unlock Jade

Jade, released June 18, 2024, is acquired through her blueprint. The blueprint is obtained via the Jade Shadows quest, accessible through the Codex. Components are gathered from Acension on Brutus, Uranus. Alternatively, purchase the blueprint and component blueprints from Ordis in the Larunda Relay on Mercury using Vestigial Motes. Resource requirements are detailed below:

How to Play Jade, Explained

Jade's gameplay is straightforward. Select a song with your second ability, then use your third ability to slow enemies and reduce their defenses. Mark targets with your first ability, and unleash devastating attacks from above using your fourth ability's alt-fire. Efficient energy management and damage mitigation are crucial. Two builds, one for beginners and one for Steel Path, are provided below.

A Good Beginner Jade Build

This beginner build avoids Helminth abilities and Archon shards, making it accessible to newer players. Note that Jade can equip two Aura mods. The initial four mods (Continuity, Intensify, Flow, and Stretch) are fundamental and widely applicable. While Arcane Energize is recommended, it's not included here.

Player’s Choice	Slot for addressing build weaknesses (e.g., Augur Secrets for ability strength, Augur Reach for range).

This build also requires modding Glory, Jade's exalted weapon. The alt-fire is key for maximizing damage against marked enemies.

Suggested Glory mods: Hornet Strike, Target Cracker, Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, Anemic Agility, and three damage type mods to counter specific enemies.

Best Jade Steel Path Build

This build doesn't require subsuming abilities, as Jade's kit functions well together. Arcanes Molt Augmented (increased ability power) and Arcane Avenger (increased critical chance on exalted weapon) are recommended.

A standard pistol build is recommended for Glory, with mods like Hornet Strike, Primed Target Cracker, Prime Pistol Gambit, Galvanized Diffusion, and Lethal Torrent. Add elemental mods based on your opponents.

Light’s Judgement	Healing well for allies, damaging enemies.
Symphony of Mercy	Three songs: Power of the Seven (+30% Ability Strength), Deathbringer (+100% Weapon Damage), Spirit of Resilience (+25% Shield Regeneration). Duration extended by killing blessed enemies.
Ophanim Eyes	Slows and de-armors enemies; revives allies from a distance.
