Video: Evelyn Gameplay, the new stripping heroine from Zenless Zone Zero

miHoYo (HoYoverse) continues to expand the world of Zenless Zone Zero, introducing a captivating new heroine: Evelyn Chevalier. Even before her official release, Evelyn captured the hearts of many players thanks to a unique battle quirk revealed during testing—she dramatically removes her cape and uses it as a weapon against enemies.

Evelyn is an S-rank, Fire-elemental Assault character. She'll be featured alongside Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in the game's second 1.5 update banner.

Speaking of the 1.5 update, miHoYo (HoYoverse) is rewarding players with Polychromes for their recent efforts. A total of 600 Polychromes are being distributed—300 for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. These rewards will be delivered to players' in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers around focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating opportunities for extended attack chains. During multi-stage attacks or special attacks, she binds herself to the main target with "Forbidden Bounds," dealing damage and accumulating Tribal Threads and Scorch Points. These points fuel her powerful abilities, unleashing significant fire damage upon her foes. Her stylish cape-removal attack remains a highlight, adding a visually striking element to her combat prowess. Many players already adore her unique combat style, thanks to early leaks and previews.
