With Memorial Day weekend approaching, it's the perfect time to capitalize on the sales and upgrade your gaming setup, especially given the current economic uncertainties like tariffs and rising prices. I've been eyeing the sales since last week and have been particularly impressed with the Wayfair sale for furniture items. My focus is on finding a new office chair, desk, and a bookcase to organize my game collection. The ease of navigating the Wayfair site has been a big plus. Additionally, I've been using IGN's recommendations to explore the best gaming chairs and desks from various brands.

Even if you don't end up purchasing from Wayfair, it's a great resource to refine what you're looking for in your space. I've successfully bought items like bookshelves, rugs, lamps, and tables from them and would recommend them for these types of purchases.

However, Wayfair might not always carry all the top brands, especially when it comes to premium office chairs or gaming-specific desks.

Splurge on Comfort Only

When upgrading your entire setup, consider investing primarily in your chair. My current chair is practically disintegrating, held together by a pair of sweatpants, so any upgrade is essential. Since I'll be using it for both work and gaming, I'm taking my time to choose. Customizing your gaming setup with accessories like RGB lights, mouse pads, laptop stands, headset holders, and Steam Deck docks is crucial. Amazon generally offers the best prices on these items. While Wayfair might have some unique novelty items, Amazon is my go-to for most accessories.

It's also worth mentioning that Amazon has some of the best Memorial Day deals on TVs, such as the LG C4, which is currently at an all-time low price and is ideal for both console and PC gaming.

Upgrade Your Gaming PC While You Can

Although I can't afford a new gaming PC right now and rely on my Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch for gaming, if you're in the market for a new gaming laptop or PC, Memorial Day sales are an excellent opportunity. The Dell Memorial Day sale is a great place to start, but don't overlook discounts at HP, Lenovo, and Best Buy.
