Uno! Mobile and Other

Author:Kristen Update:Feb 02,2025

Mattel163 enhances accessibility in its mobile card games with the Beyond Colors update. This update introduces colorblind-friendly decks to Phase 10: World Tour, Uno! Mobile, and Skip-Bo Mobile.

Instead of relying on color alone, the new decks utilize distinct shapes (squares, triangles, circles, and stars) to represent the traditional card colors. This allows players with color vision deficiencies to easily differentiate between cards.

This inclusive update is a significant step towards making these popular mobile games accessible to a broader audience. Approximately 300 million people worldwide experience color blindness (according to the Cleveland Clinic), and this initiative aims to remove barriers for these players.

The Beyond Colors decks were developed in collaboration with gamers, including those with color blindness, ensuring the chosen symbols are intuitive and consistent across all three games. Mattel163 aims for 80% of its game portfolio to be colorblind-accessible by 2025.

To activate the Beyond Colors decks, players simply need to access their in-game account settings and select the new theme. Enjoy the classic gameplay of Uno! Mobile, the strategic challenge of Phase 10: World Tour, or the unique solitaire experience of Skip-Bo Mobile, all now with enhanced accessibility. These games are available on the App Store and Google Play. For more information, visit the Mattel163 website or follow them on Facebook.
