Ultra Beasts Return in Pokémon GO

Pokemon GO's "Inbound from Ultra Space" event brings back Ultra Beasts! This five-day extravaganza, running July 8-13, 2024, features nine Ultra Beasts in five-star raids and Timed Research. Get ready for some interdimensional excitement!

Many Ultra Beasts, originally introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon (and later games), will reappear in Pokémon GO. These creatures, hailing from an alternate dimension, are known for their unique abilities and appearances. Previous events have offered glimpses of these powerful Pokémon, and this event promises even more opportunities.

Regional Exclusive Raids and Timed Research:

This event introduces a significant twist: regional exclusivity for several Ultra Beasts. To catch them all, trainers will need to explore different regions. Here's the breakdown:

• Asia-Pacific: Xurkitree
• EMEA & India: Pheromosa
• Americas & Greenland: Buzzwole
• Eastern Hemisphere: Stakataka
• Western Hemisphere: Blacephalon
• Southern Hemisphere: Celesteela
• Northern Hemisphere: Kartana

Timed Research tasks will reward encounters with most of these Ultra Beasts, with Stakataka and Blacephalon boasting special Pokédex backgrounds. New event-themed backgrounds will also be available from raids and wild catches.

Raid Schedule & Bonuses:

Five-star raids will feature a different Ultra Beast each day, with a Raid Hour (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM local time) for each. Shiny versions are possible!

• Monday, July 8: Guzzlord
• Tuesday, July 9: Nihilego
• Wednesday, July 10: Celesteela (Southern Hemisphere), Kartana (Northern Hemisphere)
• Thursday, July 11: Stakataka (Eastern Hemisphere), Blacephalon (Western Hemisphere)
• Friday, July 12: Buzzwole (Americas & Greenland), Pheromosa (EMEA & India), Xurkitree (Asia-Pacific)

Event bonuses include increased Remote Raid Pass limits (20 daily, unlimited July 12-14) and guaranteed Candy XL for trading (Trainers level 31+).

For $5 (or equivalent), a Timed Research ticket unlocks extra bonuses:

• 5,000 XP from completed raids
• 2x Stardust from winning Ultra Beast Raids
• 1 extra Candy and 1 extra Candy XL from catching Pokémon in five-star raids
• Up to 2 free Raid Passes from Gyms (up to 10 daily during Pokémon GO Fest 2024 with the GO Fest ticket)
• Numerous Candy XL for various Ultra Beasts and Cosmog Candy
