Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Rated on Singaporean Website

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 03,2025

Fueling the fire of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake rumors, Singapore's rating board has listed "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release.

This rumored remake, encompassing the next two core entries in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise, is slated for a wide array of platforms. The rating board cites Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S as target systems.

While official confirmation remains elusive, a countdown timer within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hints at upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, culminating on March 4, 2025.

Adding to the speculation, Tony Hawk himself revealed to Mythical Kitchen that discussions with Activision are underway, and a project is in development. He assured fans, "It will be something the fans will truly appreciate."

The overwhelmingly positive reception of the 2020 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake made a sequel featuring games 3 and 4 seem inevitable. However, Activision's 2021 integration of Vicarious Visions (the THPS remake developer) into Blizzard, dedicating the team to Blizzard projects, threw a wrench into the plans.

According to Hawk, the intention was to immediately follow up with a 3+4 remake. But Vicarious Visions' absorption prompted Activision to seek alternative developers.

"The truth is, [Activision] were trying to find someone to do 3 + 4, but they didn't really trust anyone the way they did Vicarious," Hawk explained during a 2022 Twitch stream. "They got pitches from other studios...but they didn't like anything they heard."

The mystery remains: if a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake is indeed in the works (and the rating suggests it is), who is the developer? The Singaporean rating only lists Activision as both publisher and developer. March 4th appears to be the date for further revelations.
