Garena's Delta Force: A Modern Take on a Classic Tactical Shooter

Get ready for the global launch of Garena's Delta Force, formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops! A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025. Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile), this reimagining promises cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms. Garena will be bringing Delta Force to Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa in 2025.

What's in Store?

Delta Force offers two distinct gameplay modes:

• Warfare: Engage in massive 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, utilizing squad-based tactics (four operators per squad).
• Operations: Experience high-stakes extraction shooter missions. Teams of three must scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and reach the extraction point before time runs out. This mode features bosses, restricted areas, special missions, and a rare item – the MandelBrick – which unlocks exclusive skins (though revealing its acquisition broadcasts your location!).

Acquired loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for currency. Players can also loot fallen opponents for gear and supplies.

A Nod to the Past

This new Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics while retaining the tactical gameplay that defined the original 1998 release. Fans of the classic will find much to appreciate in this modern iteration.
