Thrones Beta Arrives Soon

Get ready for the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad closed beta! Netmarble's upcoming action-adventure title, based on George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, launches its closed beta on January 15th. This third-person Westeros adventure will be available on Android and PC.

Sign-ups are open now for the beta, running from January 15th to the 22nd in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile games, Kingsroad offers a single-character experience. You'll play as the heir to House Tyrell, embarking on a journey across Westeros, battling enemies, and building your reputation.

The trailer hints at a Witcher-esque feel, featuring third-person exploration and combat, with three distinct classes to choose from: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. While visually impressive, the true test lies in gameplay.

Winter is coming (or maybe it's already here!) Don't miss the closed beta registration, open until January 12th! While Game of Thrones: Kingsroad shows promise, it will undoubtedly face intense scrutiny. The series' peak popularity may have passed, but a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a compelling, immersive game.

Monetization and long-term support will be key factors determining its success. However, if Netmarble delivers, it could satisfy the desires of Game of Thrones enthusiasts.
