Is There Third-Person Mode in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? Answered

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gameplay: A First-Person Perspective Only

Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a fully immersive first-person experience. The question many players have is whether a third-person perspective is available. The short answer is no.

The game's developers intentionally chose a first-person viewpoint to enhance the RPG's immersion. This allows players to truly inhabit the role of Henry, experiencing the game world from his perspective. While the modding community might eventually create a third-person mod, the base game exclusively uses a first-person camera.

While exploring the game world is strictly first-person, players will see Henry in cutscenes and during conversations with NPCs. The camera will shift between Henry and the person he's interacting with. Henry's appearance dynamically changes based on his condition (dirtiness) and equipped gear.

An official third-person mode is highly improbable. Therefore, players should expect to experience the entire game from a first-person perspective.
