Terminator 2D: NO FATE Announced – A New Game Set in the Terminator Universe

Studio Bitmap Bureau is crafting a retro side-scrolling game inspired by the classic film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While drawing inspiration from the movie's iconic plot, the developers assure players of original storylines and multiple branching narratives. Key scenes from the film, however, will remain faithfully recreated.

Players will assume the roles of the T-800, Sarah Connor, and a now-adult John Connor, each offering a unique gameplay experience. Taking control of the T-800 and Sarah Connor will pit players against the relentless T-1000, while John Connor will lead the human resistance.

The game's trailer features the franchise's recognizable theme music and iconic moments from Terminator 2, reinterpreted in a charming pixel art style. Beyond the main campaign, several arcade modes will provide additional replayability.

The game is slated for release on September 5th, 2025, across all current-generation consoles and PC platforms.
