Tears of Themis Unveils Enchanting "Ballad of the Dunes" Event

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism, merging detective work with the historical richness of Dunhuang.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Dunhuang Adventure

This crossover event immerses players in a world of history, romance, and mystery set against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road. Players will unravel intriguing cases steeped in the cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city bordering the Gobi Desert.

The event introduces four new MR cards, one for each of the main characters: Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius. Each card's design is inspired by distinct aspects of Dunhuang's culture, showcasing elements like flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the traditional pipa. The artistic style evokes the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's vibrant blend of art, culture, and trade during the Western Han Dynasty.

Each card features a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." Accompanying Private Messages delve deeper into the thousand-year-old history.

Rewards Await!

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A central gameplay element involves a cell-flipping board game that reveals rewards. The grand prize is a choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.
