The official announcement of a GUNDAM TCG has sent ripples of excitement through the Gundam fanbase! A promotional video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) on September 27th, launched the "new global TCG project #GUNDAM." This coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary celebrations. However, the format remains unclear; whether it will be a physical-only card game or include an online component is yet to be determined.

Complete details will be unveiled on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement. This event will be live-streamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel and feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, along with former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, showcasing his passion for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
