Subway Surfers is reaching a significant milestone this month, celebrating its 13th anniversary with a grand, globe-trotting event starting on May 12th. This special celebration promises to be an exciting journey for players around the world.

The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The festivities kick off in Copenhagen, marking the launch of the 13th Anniversary update. This update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital and introduces a thrilling new daily city-hopping challenge. Players will not only run through Copenhagen but also unlock up to 21 other iconic cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To explore these destinations, players must collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each location to unlock the next city.

This update also marks the 200th destination in Subway Surfers' World Tour series. Since its inception in 2013, the game has been rotating through global locations, and currently, it's showcasing Osaka, celebrating Japan's Golden Week. Osaka dazzles with its neon lights and traditional elements, offering exclusive content for players to explore. New characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are being introduced; Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features such as Player Names and Friend Lists are being rolled out, enhancing the community aspect of the game.
