Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level

The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the focus is usually on the players themselves, let's examine the character choices of this elite group.

Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data offers a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 characters saw representation, though only one player opted for Ryu out of nearly two hundred participants (including eight regional finalists from 24 regions). Even Terry Bogard, the newest addition, was selected by only two players.

Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each chosen as a main character by 17 players. A significant gap separates this top tier from the next, which includes Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each). Among the less frequently selected characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each serving as the main character for seven players.

Capcom Cup 11 will take place in Tokyo this March, with the champion receiving a $1 million prize.
