Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, allowing players to tailor their loadout to their preferred playstyle. Beyond standard firearms, unique weapons with enhanced stats and modifications exist, one of which is the Cavalier sniper rifle. This distinctive weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it exceptionally effective at close to medium ranges. Let's explore how to acquire this powerful rifle.

Acquiring the Cavalier Sniper Rifle in Stalker 2

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle is located near the Military Unit within the Duga base. Specifically, it's hidden inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously retrieved the Journalist stash from Duga, accessing the area via the secondary entrance should be straightforward.

Accessing the Warehouse near Duga's Military Unit

Upon entering Duga, proceed towards the Military Unit building (as indicated on your map). Circumvent the building itself to reach the greenhouse at its rear. Exercise caution, as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. Approaching the greenhouse cautiously allows you to avoid a confrontation.

Enter the greenhouse; beyond lies the warehouse. Upon entering, prepare for a swarm of rats that will inflict damage. Elevated green platforms at the warehouse's rear offer refuge. Consider using a grenade to eliminate the rodent infestation efficiently.

Retrieving the Cavalier Rifle

After clearing the rats, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll notice yellow-painted wooden boards. Destroy these boards with your weapon; the Cavalier sniper rifle will fall from above.

Retrieve the weapon and safely exit Duga. The Cavalier can be further upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy, further enhanced by upgrades and modifications, make it a formidable weapon. The Cavalier's red-dot sight is particularly appealing to players who prefer a scope-less sniper rifle experience, allowing for effective engagement in close to medium-range combat.
