SpongeBob Immersive Experience Goes Live, Pre-Registration Opens

Netflix is releasing a new SpongeBob SquarePants game soon: SpongeBob Bubble Pop! Pre-registration is now open on Android. While reminiscent of the 2015 iOS title, SpongeBob Bubble Party, this new game, developed by Tic Toc Games (creators of Rift of the NecroDancer), promises a fresh experience, especially considering Bubble Party's lack of recent updates.

SpongeBob Bubble Pop features classic bubble-popping gameplay. The Flying Dutchman's mischievous makeover of Bikini Bottom into a giant bubble bath sets the stage for SpongeBob to use his absorbent powers to clear the mess. Players will journey through familiar locations like the Krusty Krab and Sandy's Tree Dome, alongside iconic characters like Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs. Customization options allow players to dress SpongeBob in various outfits, including the Krusty Krab uniform and classic suspenders, potentially earned through a Skill Crane minigame.

Although a trailer or gameplay preview is yet to be released, the game is slated for release on September 17th. Interested players can pre-register on the Google Play Store to be ready for launch day.
