Fans of the adult animated series *Solar Opposites* will need to brace themselves for the end, as Hulu has officially announced that the upcoming sixth season will be the show's last. Mark your calendars for a bittersweet farewell, as the final season is slated to premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025.

The announcement of Season 6 came in mid-2024, but at the time, there was no hint that it would serve as the series' conclusion. *Solar Opposites*, which debuted in 2020, follows the quirky adventures of an alien family stranded on Earth after escaping their doomed home planet. The show has carved out a niche for itself with its unique blend of humor and storytelling.

Created by *Star Trek: Lower Decks* mastermind Mike McMahan and *Rick & Morty* co-creator Justin Roiland, *Solar Opposites* faced a significant shift when Roiland was removed from the series in 2023 following charges of domestic violence. Although the charges were eventually dropped, Roiland's departure led to a seamless transition with English actor Dan Stevens stepping in as the lead voice actor.
