Get ready! Smite 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular MOBA, launches its free-to-play open beta on January 14, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the Unreal Engine 5-powered game, initially revealed a decade after its predecessor.

This open beta will introduce players to a revamped Smite experience, featuring:

• New God: Aladdin: The first God from the Tales of Arabia pantheon joins the roster as a Magical Assassin and Jungler, boasting unique wall-running and lamp-trapping abilities.

• Returning Favorites: Popular Gods from the original Smite, including Mulan, Geb, Ullr, and Agni, are back with updated skill sets.

• Expanded Roster: The God roster will expand to nearly 50 by the end of January 2025, offering a diverse range of mythological figures.

• New Game Modes: Experience the thrill of 3v3 Joust, set in an Arthurian-themed arena with teleporters and stealth grass, and engage in 1v1 Duels on the same map.

• Aspects System: This innovative feature lets players alter their God's abilities for powerful boons, adding strategic depth to gameplay. Twenty Gods will initially feature Aspects, with more to come.

• Quality-of-Life Improvements: Smite 2 boasts enhanced features, including Role Guides, improved in-game messaging, PC text chat, refined item stores, and detailed death recaps.
