Sims 1 & 2 PC Return: 25th Anniversary Bundle

Celebrate 25 years of The Sims with the return of the original games! EA and Maxis are throwing a party, and you're invited. The Sims and The Sims 2 are back on PC, remastered in the Sims: Legacy Collection and Sims 2: Legacy Collection, respectively. Both are available individually or together in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle for $40.

These aren't just basic re-releases. Each collection includes nearly all expansion and stuff packs. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection is missing the IKEA Home Stuff pack, it's a minor omission considering the wealth of content included. As a bonus, The Sims gets a "Throwback Fit Kit," and The Sims 2 receives a "Grunge Revival Kit."

This is a momentous occasion for longtime fans. For over a decade, The Sims has only been available on physical disc, making it virtually inaccessible to modern PC players. The Sims 2, while available digitally for a time via an Ultimate Collection, was eventually removed from digital storefronts. Now, both are readily available again, ensuring all four main Sims games are easily purchasable.
