Shroodle Confirmed for Pokemon GO

The new year in Pokémon GO brings a wave of exciting Pokémon, and Shroodle is the latest addition. However, unlike many previous releases, catching this Toxic Mouse Pokémon isn't as simple as a wild encounter.

Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut:

Shroodle arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, this relatively new Pokémon will remain available after the event concludes.

Shiny Shroodle:

Currently, a Shiny Shroodle is unavailable in Pokémon GO. Its Shiny variant will likely be introduced in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket focused event.

Catching Shroodle:

Unlike many recent Pokémon, Shroodle isn't found in the wild. The only way to obtain Shroodle is by hatching 12KM Eggs. These eggs, obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff, and Giovanni), have a chance to hatch Shroodle. The chances are likely increased during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event.

Obtaining 12KM Eggs:

12KM Eggs are exclusively obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event presents an ideal opportunity to stock up on these eggs due to increased Team GO Rocket activity and easier access to Rocket Radars.

Evolving to Grafaiai:

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also debuts on January 15th. It cannot be hatched or found in the wild; evolution from Shroodle (requiring 50 Shroodle Candy) is the only method of acquisition.
