Season 5 of Monster Hunter Now: The Blossoming Blade Arrives Soon!

Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting launch of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and Niantic has shared all the juicy details. Mark your calendars for March 6th, 2025, because this season is packed with new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and monstrous fun.

Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

As a special appetizer before the main course, Chatacabra will make its grand entrance on February 28th. This is its first-ever appearance, not just in Monster Hunter Now, but also ahead of its debut in Monster Hunter Wilds. When Season 5 officially kicks off, get ready to face Glavenus and Arzuros as they join the fray.

Weapon balance is getting a major overhaul to ensure every type is both viable and a blast to use. The Sword & Shield is set for a significant buff, making it easier to target those breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, resulting in more satisfying combos.

Additionally, the Guard skill is receiving a much-needed upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard hardly made a dent in damage reduction, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce the damage taken when blocking. More detailed tweaks will be unveiled in the full patch notes on March 6th.

And There Is More!

If your inventory feels like it's bursting at the seams, rejoice! Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item, granting you an additional 250 slots to manage your gear more comfortably.

As part of Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will allow you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for incredible rewards. Look forward to acquiring Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards through this system.

So, prepare for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and immersing yourself in the world of Monster Hunter Now.
