Author:Kristen Update:May 21,2025

With the highly anticipated release of Invincible: Season 3 on the horizon, Prime Video has unveiled an exciting new roster of voice actors set to join the series. Among them are Aaron Paul voicing Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu stepping into the role of Multi-Paul, Dupli-Kate's brother. However, the most intriguing additions are Jonathan Banks and Doug Bradley, whose characters remain shrouded in mystery, hinting at significant plot developments ahead.

As fans eagerly await further details, speculation is rife about which characters from the Invincible comic series these seasoned actors will portray. Moreover, the rapid aging of Christian Convery's character, Oliver Grayson, introduces new dynamics to the storyline, particularly as he becomes Invincible's new sidekick. Here's a detailed look at the key new characters expected to make their mark in Season 3.

Warning: some basic plot spoilers for the Invincible comic ahead!

Jonathan Banks as Conquest

Jonathan Banks, renowned for his role in Breaking Bad, is set to lend his voice to the series, though Prime Video has kept his character under wraps. Given Banks' prowess in portraying tough and seasoned characters, it's highly likely he will voice Conquest, a formidable Viltrumite warrior introduced in Invincible #61 in 2009. Conquest, bearing the scars of countless battles, arrives on Earth with a stark ultimatum from the Viltrumite Empire: Invincible must conquer his homeworld, or Conquest will do it himself, leading to a brutal confrontation.

Season 2 laid the groundwork for this epic clash, positioning Mark Grayson to face his greatest challenge yet. As a young and still-developing hero, Mark's battle against Conquest will test his limits and define his path as Invincible.

Who Is Doug Bradley Playing in Invincible Season 3?

Doug Bradley, famous for his chilling portrayal of Pinhead in the Hellraiser series, is another enigmatic addition to the cast. Speculation points to two potential characters: Dinosaurus and Grand Regent Thragg.

Dinosaurus, introduced in Invincible #68, is a villain with a unique mission to heal the planet from human-induced damage. His radical approach, including targeting Las Vegas for destruction, offers a complex moral dilemma. Bradley's distinctive voice could add a compelling depth to this character.

Alternatively, Grand Regent Thragg, the primary antagonist of the Invincible saga, is a possibility. First appearing in Invincible #11, Thragg is the ruler of the Viltrumite Empire and a veteran of countless battles. His introduction in Season 3 could set the stage for future confrontations, and Bradley's commanding presence would be perfect for this role.

Christian Convery’s Oliver Grayson

Season 2 introduced Mark's half-brother, Oliver Grayson, whose accelerated aging due to his Thraxan and Viltrumite heritage becomes a significant plot element in Season 3. By the time Season 3 rolls around, Oliver, now voiced by Christian Convery, will have aged from a toddler to a preteen, showcasing his rapid development and emerging powers.

Oliver's quick growth and early manifestation of powers, such as flight and superhuman strength, set him on a path to follow in his father and brother's footsteps. Adopting the codename Kid Omni-Man, Oliver's journey will add a new layer to Mark's responsibilities as he navigates his role as a hero and mentor.

As Invincible: Season 3 promises to introduce these pivotal characters, fans can look forward to a season filled with intense battles, moral complexities, and the evolving dynamics of Mark Grayson's superhero journey.
