S8UL to Represent India at WCS Finals After Pokémon Unite Qualifiers

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 24,2025

The esports community is buzzing with excitement as not only does PUBG Mobile gear up for its PMGO finals later this week, but the Pokémon Unite scene is also reaching fever pitch. S8UL, a standout team from India, has secured their spot to represent their country at the upcoming World Championship Series (WCS) after triumphing in the local Qualifiers.

This achievement is particularly sweet for S8UL, who faced a setback during the Pokémon Unite Asia Champions League (ACL) where they were eliminated early and failed to advance to the ACL competition. However, they've bounced back impressively and are now set to compete in the WCS Finals in the USA this August.

The journey to the WCS wasn't easy for S8UL. They started the India Qualifiers on a sour note with a loss in their opening match, which relegated them to the lower bracket and intensified their challenge. Nevertheless, they fought their way to the top, dominating over formidable opponents such as Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark.

Championship PerformanceThis isn't the first time S8UL has earned the right to represent India on the world stage. They were also selected for the 2024 WCS, but unfortunately, they couldn't participate due to visa issues that prevented their travel to Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still presenting challenges, the team is no doubt mindful of these potential hurdles. However, they remain hopeful and determined to leave a mark at the WCS 2025 finals this summer.
