RuneScape Brings Its Christmas Village Back with the New Quest ‘Cold Front’

RuneScape is welcoming back the Christmas Village for a complete winter festival experience. The main highlight features the Queen of Snow alongside a brand-new seasonal quest titled Cold Front. Classic returning events round out the rest of the holiday lineup.

What’s the scoop?

The Queen of Snow has arrived to manage a snowman tournament. In Cold Front, the new festive adventure, you team up with her as she organizes her perfect competition.

If you missed last year's holiday storylines, you can experience them again this season. Christmas Reunion and It’s Snow Bother return alongside other Christmas Village content. As usual, these quests do not affect your Quest Point totals.

Most paths in the village lead uphill toward Santa’s Lodge. A personal visit from Santa is reserved for players who make it onto his Nice List. Getting there has become more straightforward this year!

Every three letters you turn in grants one Nice Point, and these letters come from several easy sources. Clementine outside the lodge provides some, while Daily Challenges generate others. The remaining letters appear naturally as you participate in seasonal activities scattered throughout the area. Santa’s Nice List also offers another chance to obtain the elusive Black Partyhat.

Christmas Spirit remains the primary currency for the season. The Snowball Arena stands out as a new activity. Created by the Snow Imps, this battlefield was carved specifically for the Queen of Snow’s tournament.

Santa’s Nice List continues to distribute weekly rewards, and Winter Weeks provide rotating buffs. The Christmas Spirit Shop is stocked with both new and returning items. Wrapping Paper remains important too; exchanges managed by the Snow Imps yield presents filled with festive surprises.
