ReFantazio Unveils Strategy to Outplay Faithwight Magileto

Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging encounter demands strategic preparation and a bit of luck.

Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses and Abilities

This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic, both single-target and AoE (Megidolaon), amplified by passive damage buffs. The Magileto also utilizes Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and can summon skeletal allies.

These summoned skeletons possess strong slashing attacks, dark magic, and potent healing capabilities (potentially restoring the Magileto to full health). Their weakness lies in Strike attacks.

Strategies for Victory

Even at level 50, this battle is incredibly tough. Preparation is key:

  • Archetype Selection & Skill Inheritance: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to Dark and Light damage (Warlock, Thief). Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype to maximize Press Turn icons. The Magic Knight's Dark Dodge and the Healer's Light Dodge are essential. Strength-focused Archetypes are ideal if you have many unlocked and can utilize Skill Inheritance effectively.

  • Essential Skills: Equip party-wide healing spells on at least two party members. Ensure every character has a Strike attack. Tetrabreak is useful to counter Tetrakarn used by summoned enemies. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs.

  • Gameplay Tactics: The fight involves some luck; consecutive Megidolaons are nearly unsurvivable. Dark and Light Dodge significantly mitigate these attacks. Prioritize eliminating summoned allies immediately to prevent their healing. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn.

This battle requires a combination of strategic preparation, skillful execution, and a degree of fortune to overcome the Faithwight Magileto and its formidable allies.
