ZZZ Cracks the PS5 Top 10

Zenless Zone Zero, a free-to-play action RPG, has entered the top 10 most popular PlayStation games, according to Circana's "US Player Engagement Tracker Top 10 Titles" report. This ranking is based on weekly user engagement, not playtime. The game's inclusion alongside established titles like Elden Ring and Minecraft highlights its strong performance.

Launched on July 4th, ZZZ rapidly climbed the charts, reaching the #12 spot in the PS5 Top 40 most-played games during its debut week. Mobile performance has also been impressive, generating nearly $52 million in gross player spending ($36.4 million net) within its first 11 days, peaking at $7.4 million on July 5th.

While not yet matching the overall success of miHoYo's other titles, ZZZ holds its own against industry giants like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Roblox. The game boasts a 4.5/5 star rating on the Epic Games Store, with players praising its engaging boss battles and compelling narrative.
