Author:Kristen Update:May 05,2025

The Pokémon Company has exciting news for fans as they've announced a Pokémon Presents event scheduled for next week, celebrating Pokémon Day. The event is set to take place on February 27, 2025, and will be accessible via the Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific Time, 9am Eastern Time, and 2pm UK Time.

While the specifics of what will be unveiled remain under wraps, anticipation is high among the community. Enthusiasts are particularly eager for any news on the next mainline Pokémon game, which has yet to be announced. The Pokémon Company has already teased fans with the upcoming spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, slated for release in 2025, but details on the next official generation of Pokémon games are still eagerly awaited.

Pokémon Presents events traditionally offer updates across the franchise's various titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Additionally, expect to hear more about the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket, along with updates on the physical trading card game.

Reflecting on last year's Pokémon Presents, fans were treated to the announcement of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, details on upcoming Tera Raid Battle events in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and insights into the Pokémon Trading Card Game's transition to mobile platforms. Notably, 2024 marked a departure from the norm, featuring only one Pokémon Presents event and the absence of a major Pokémon game release for the first time since 2015.
