"Pokémon Go Launches $100 Ticket for Enhanced Toilet Access"

Author:Kristen Update:May 22,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing both in-game benefits and real-world amenities. This year's Go Fest will be held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan.

For those attending the Jersey City event, the Premier Access add-on offers a range of exclusive perks. Think of it as a Business Class experience for the event. The highlight is the Premier Access lounge, which includes upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating areas for recharging before your next adventure. While the specifics on the "upgraded restrooms" remain undisclosed, these facilities are meant to be a step above those available to standard attendees.

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will enjoy fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store. This benefit is crucial as the store typically sees long lines, and skipping the queue can save valuable playtime, allowing you to explore and catch more Pokémon.

The real draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive list of in-game items it provides. Here's what you get:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

These items represent a significant value, potentially saving players up to $300 if purchased individually in the game. Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

Reactions to the Premier Access ticket have been mixed. Some players argue that this is an unprecedented and expensive upgrade, especially as the game increasingly introduces more monetization options. Others appreciate the value of the in-game items and see it as a worthwhile investment for those who have already committed to attending Go Fest and have the disposable income for further enhancements.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will feature the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
