The Trial of the Sekhemas in Path of Exile 2 is an endgame activity, similar to the Sanctum from the original game. It offers valuable loot but presents a challenge, especially for less powerful characters. While not essential to the main storyline, it's a significant source of progression and rewards. How to Unlock the Trial of the Sekhemas in Path of Exile 2

To begin, defeat Balbala the Traitor, located in Traitor's Passage within Act 2. She's a formidable opponent early on, but victory yields Balbala's Barya – the key to accessing the Trial.

After defeating Balbala, travel to the Trial of the Sekhemas location (accessible via the Ardura's travel map or waypoint). You'll find a ruined temple where Balbala awaits, not as an enemy, but as a guide. Place Balbala's Barya on the Relic Altar to initiate your Trial run.
