"Play Together's Dreamland Update Turns Nightmarish"

Author:Kristen Update:May 07,2025

If you've been diving into the recent Dreamland update in Haegin's *Play Together*, you might have been intrigued by the unique mechanic of needing to sleep to enter this mystical zone. But what if the whimsical dreams of your character took a sinister turn? The new Nightmare update allows you to explore this darker twist firsthand.

Dreamland has transformed into a Nightmare, thanks to the malevolent influence of the Queen of the Night. Nightmare monsters are not only infiltrating the dream world but also spilling into the 'real world' of Kaia Island. To restore order before the event concludes on May 21st, you'll need to confront these creatures and ultimately dethrone the Queen of the Night.

You'll face off against five distinct types of Nightmare Monsters that have overrun the island, including the eerie Sneering Pillow and the haunting Abandoned Doll. To combat these threats, you'll wield the newly introduced Dream Gun. Overcome all these adversaries, and you'll be rewarded with the unique mount, Bed Consumed by Nightmares!

But beware, it's not just Nightmare Monsters you need to be wary of; even the regular fauna of Kaia Island has been tainted by these nightmares. You'll encounter new varieties of fish and insects that you can catch and trade for Nightmare Essence, the event's special currency.

Over at the Dreamland Workshop, you can now craft nightmare-themed furniture, such as the eerie Nightmare Music Box and the haunting Nightmare Garden Lamp. Plus, there's a new companion to add to your collection: the Nightmare Sheep.
