Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is gearing up for a global expansion with the launch of a dedicated social media account for its English version. A pivotal announcement is scheduled for a livestream on May 15 at 7:00 AM PT, which will be streamed on Atlus' official western YouTube channel. The livestream promises an engaging lineup, featuring special guests from the game's cast, including Kaede Hondo, the voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, who voices Yui. They will be joined by key figures such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, and Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.

Originally launched in select regions in April 2024, there's speculation that the developers might reveal the Western release date during the upcoming stream. They hinted at English localization plans during the game's first anniversary livestream, and the official account teased, "The release date for Japan will surely be announced, but what about the West? Be sure to tune in and find out!"

Japanese Release Coming Soon

The livestream will also shed light on Persona 5: The Phantom X's upcoming Japanese (JP) release. Atlus has confirmed that the game will launch in Japan during Summer 2025, and pre-registrations are currently open on P5X's JP website.

In their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, Sega Sammy Holdings, a Japanese global holding company, included the game in their roll-out schedule, targeting a release "In or after FY2026/3" (from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), with a planned launch this summer.
