Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Trans Comments

Author:Kristen Update:May 26,2025

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in acclaimed series like The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized JK Rowling over her stance against the transgender community. This comes in the wake of Rowling's support for the UK Supreme Court's decision to define "woman" strictly as "a biological woman" under equality legislation, effectively excluding transgender women from legal protections.

The controversy escalated when Rowling posted a celebratory image on Twitter/X, smoking a cigar and sipping a drink by the ocean, captioning it, "I love it when a plan comes together." This was a nod to her financial support for For Scotland Women, the group behind the lawsuit.

Pascal's response came in the comments section of a video by writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who criticized Rowling's actions as "serious Voldemort villain sht" and called for a boycott of all things Harry Potter. In his reply, Pascal echoed Raouf's sentiments, labeling Rowling's behavior as "awful disgusting SHT" and "heinous LOSER behavior."

This is not the first instance of Pascal supporting transgender rights. He previously expressed his views strongly, stating, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist." He shared these thoughts alongside an image of a sign proclaiming, "A world without trans people has never existed and never will." Additionally, Pascal showed solidarity at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London by wearing a shirt that read "Protect the dolls," a term used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.

Pascal's support for the transgender community is deeply personal; his sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a trans woman in 2021. He publicly celebrated her transition, posting, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," which translates to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
