The Parabolic Microphone's primary function is sound detection. On larger maps, it's invaluable for pinpointing ghost activity by listening for sounds like object throws, door movements, or ghostly whispers. It can also help complete optional objectives requiring ghost voice recordings. Certain ghosts, such as the Deogen or Banshee, produce unique sounds only detectable with this microphone, aiding in ghost identification.
