Orna Launches NatureBlight: A Global Environmental Awareness RPG

*Orna: The GPS RPG* is set to launch its latest in-game event, **Natureblight**, a brand-new chapter that begins on **May 30th, 2025**, and continues through **June 14th**. As the next installment in *Terra’s Legacy*, this event challenges players to engage in an environmental struggle unlike anything seen before in the game.

Northern Forge Studios continues its tradition of spotlighting global themes with this immersive update. *Natureblight* brings real-world conservation issues into focus, aligning with the studio’s commitment to meaningful storytelling and gameplay. This isn’t just another adventure—it’s a call to awareness.

For the second time, Northern Forge Studios joins the Green Game Jam, supported by the Playing for the Planet Alliance. As always, *Orna* uniquely blends fantasy with geolocation-based exploration, inviting players to explore actual locations around the globe. In this new event, players will visit places currently facing severe environmental challenges.

During the *Natureblight* event, players are transported across Orna’s world to digital representations of seven real-world locations. At each stop, you’ll encounter a powerful Animal Guardian, embodying the spirit and ecological importance of its habitat.

Once befriended, these guardians can become your loyal companions even after the event ends, making them valuable allies in your journey through Orna’s evolving world.

And What About the Great Murk?

As you traverse these areas, you'll uncover the tragic history of the alien Terran people—who once devastated their own environment through deforestation, pollution, and extinction. Now, a similar force known as the **Great Murk** is resurfacing, threatening to engulf the land once more. Your mission? Stop it in its tracks.
