Nonogram Logic Puzzle Marks 10 Years on Mobile

Author:Kristen Update:May 21,2025

A decade ago, Picture Cross burst onto the scene as World’s Biggest Picture Cross, setting out to be the premier nonogram app for mobile users. Fast forward to today, and Picture Cross has evolved into a puzzle powerhouse with over 10,000 puzzles. To mark its 10th anniversary, the game is rolling out new modes and even more puzzles for fans to enjoy.

Play the Game if You Haven’t Already

Picture Cross boasts an impressive array of puzzles, offering a variety of grid sizes and difficulty levels ranging from Easy to Expert. The gameplay remains true to the classic nonogram style, where players use numerical clues to fill in squares and gradually unveil stunning pixel art images.

As you solve puzzles, you unlock entire themed packs and hidden poster scenes. The game features more than 60 themed puzzle packs. Dive into Motorsport for 100 adrenaline-pumping puzzles, or explore the cosmos with Moonshot, a collection of 100 space-themed challenges.

For those with varied interests, there's Mini Golf for nostalgic course enthusiasts, Rockstar for music lovers, and Sci-Fi Celebration for fans of aliens and warp drives. You can also tackle Mythical Monsters, delve into Fairy Tales, or unearth mysteries with Archaeology.

For a more down-to-earth experience, try A Day At The Races or The Airport, each offering a new scene to discover. The Pirates! pack delivers a swashbuckling set of puzzles. And if you've conquered it all, the Encyclopedia of Picture Cross provides a remixed collection to keep the challenge alive.

Celebrate Picture Cross 10th Anniversary with New Routes and Modes

To celebrate its milestone, Picture Cross introduces a Map View to help you strategize your puzzle-solving journey. A new Tournament Mode is now available for competitive players. Additionally, a comprehensive playing guide is offered to enhance your solving strategies. Both classic and multi-color puzzles are included in all modes.

Pete Williamson, CEO of puzzling.com, the creators of Picture Cross, expressed his joy at the game reaching its 10th anniversary. He extended a heartfelt thank you to the fans and hinted at exciting updates slated for 2025 and beyond. You can explore Picture Cross on the Google Play Store.
