Bethesda has announced that MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will launch on PlayStation 5 with early access starting April 15, followed by a global release on April 17. Those who pre-order the game will have access to the early access period.

The PS5 release date announcement comes four months after the game's initial launch on Xbox and PC. Alongside this news, a playful promotional trailer was released featuring a unique pairing of two of the most renowned video game actors: Troy Baker, who plays Indiana Jones, and Nolan North, known for his role as Nathan Drake in the PlayStation-exclusive Uncharted series. Given the inspiration Uncharted draws from Indiana Jones, this meeting marks a symbolic full circle moment for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

PlayIn the trailer, Baker and North engage in a light-hearted conversation that cleverly avoids direct references to Sony's *Uncharted* or Nathan Drake. North playfully hints at his character's typical escapades by suggesting he's in a lavishly decorated room he might have broken into, with the implication that he's on a tight schedule due to potential interruptions. The dialogue touches on their characters' methods and styles, with North mentioning his preference for sidearms and casual attire, while Baker emphasizes using his wits.

The banter continues as both actors express their characters' differing motivations for seeking ancient artifacts: North's Nathan Drake would sell them to the highest bidder, whereas Baker's Indiana Jones aims to preserve them in museums. This exchange symbolizes Nathan Drake welcoming Indiana Jones into the elite circle of adventurers, culminating in North's welcoming statement, "Welcome to the club." This signifies Indiana Jones and The Great Circle's presence on PlayStation alongside Uncharted, highlighting the camaraderie between these iconic treasure hunters. The trailer humorously leaves room for another legendary character, Lara Croft, to join the conversation.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is the latest in this multiplatform push, with more Microsoft-developed games expected to follow suit.

The game has already seen significant success, reaching 4 million players since its day-one launch on Game Pass, a number expected to grow with the PS5 release.

Harrison Ford, the iconic actor behind Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford humorously remarked, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it." Ford's comments highlight his satisfaction with Baker's performance and the creative process behind the game.
