No Concrete Plans for Switch or Other Platforms Yet

In a recent interview, Mizobe discussed the difficulties of optimizing Palworld for the Switch's hardware. While discussions regarding new platforms are ongoing, Pocketpair hasn't made any announcements concerning future releases on platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, or mobile devices. Earlier comments suggested the game's high PC specifications present significant challenges for a Switch port. Mizobe confirmed previous reports of exploring additional platform options and considering partnerships or acquisitions, but denied any buyout discussions with Microsoft.

Future Plans Include Enhanced Multiplayer and PvP

Beyond platform considerations, Mizobe expressed his vision for expanding Palworld's multiplayer aspects. An upcoming arena mode, described as an experiment, is a stepping stone towards a full-fledged PvP mode. Mizobe aims to incorporate elements reminiscent of popular survival games like Ark and Rust, emphasizing competitive player interaction, resource management, and alliances.
