The company will instead offer a pre-order period exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan, starting mid-December 2024, with shipments expected in early February 2025. The exact pre-order start date will be announced shortly. There is currently no information regarding potential impacts on international stock, with a general public release still scheduled for March 2025 in other regions.

Launched in October 2024, the Alarmo alarm clock features iconic music from various Nintendo franchises, including Super Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, and RingFit Adventure, with more to be added via future updates. Its immediate popularity led to online orders being temporarily halted and a lottery system implemented. Physical stock quickly sold out in numerous locations, including all Japanese Nintendo stores and the New York flagship store.

Further updates on pre-orders and the rescheduled general release will be provided by Nintendo.
