Currently, the selection leans heavily towards various Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing sets. Beyond that, the options are limited. As a combined LEGO and Nintendo enthusiast, I yearn for more. To my fellow fans, I ask: Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the Switch 2 announcement, excitement for the next generation of Nintendo is high. We can likely anticipate more LEGO Nintendo sets as Nintendo continues its movie investments (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda). Personally, I believe Metroid offers the most potential for amazing LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's the ideal time for impressive builds. Additionally, I'd love to see genuine LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets. However, this might be unlikely due to Mattel's Pokémon licensing agreement.
