The First Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Trailer Is Here — And The Animatronics Are Leaving The Pizza Parlor

We're going back… and by that I mean we’re actually taking things out of the pizza parlor, believe it or not. The first Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 trailer has arrived, and there are plenty of exciting details to unpack—starting with the fact that the Freddy’s animatronics will be leaving Fazbear’s Pizza in the series’ second entry, bringing chaos to the world beyond.

But that’s not all this sneak peek reveals. After seeing the device on the film’s first poster, we now get a clearer look at the FazTalker—a toy that feels like a blend of a two-way radio and a classic Fisher-Price boombox. It seems to function exactly as fans suspected, letting spirits reach out to the living.

It appears the spirits aren’t trying to reach Josh Hutcherson’s protagonist, Mike, but rather his younger sister, Abby, who formed a bond—with a spoiler alert—with the animatronics’ spirits in the first film. They call out to her in the trailer, and it seems she, her brother, and his police officer friend Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) answer that plea. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be a trap, possibly orchestrated by Matthew Lillard’s William Afton—even if he’s presumed dead.

Fans also catch a glimpse of the Withered animatronics, especially Withered Bonnie—also known as Faceless Bonnie—shown in full, chilling detail. As the main villain of the second FNAF game, it’s clear the movie will follow the game’s lead here.

Finally, one of the most intriguing moments comes right at the end, when Mike finds a Freddy mask in the parlor’s office—a tool fans know should help him stay hidden once the animatronics come alive at night. “There’s no way this’ll work,” Mike says, just as Chica and Withered Bonnie launch their attack.

All in all, FNAF 2 is shaping up to be a thrilling ride that may actually stick closely to the second game rather than veering off into something entirely unexpected—potentially working to its advantage if everything falls into place.

Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is set to arrive in theaters on December 5, 2025.
