Sword of Convallaria's Night Crimson Update: New Story, Characters, and Events!

XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. This update, arriving just months after the game's July launch, delivers a wealth of new content for millions of players on PC and mobile.

The update continues the Spiral of Destinies campaign, focusing on Waverun City with an innovative investigative clue wall mechanic. This intriguing gameplay element combines detective work with tactical combat, adding a layer of strategic depth to your choices as you unravel mysteries under the guidance of Safiyyah, the Mobile Squad's leader.

Night Crimson also introduces a new character type: SP Characters. These are alternate versions of existing characters, boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by SP Taair on January 17th. Unlocking their SP forms grants an exclusive skill, boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.

Beyond the new characters and quests, the Night Crimson events (running since December 20th) offer substantial rewards. Complete these events to earn Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, starting January 3rd, allows you to exchange event points for special items, giving you a competitive advantage.

Looking ahead, the update includes developer messages offering a peek into the future of Sword of Convallaria, along with a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor and a new theme song, "Never Apart," featuring a Japanese version by Hikasa Yoko.
