NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. This mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, originally released on PC in June 2016, launched in April 2020. However, the PC and console versions will remain operational.

Dead by Daylight Mobile offered thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical gameplay, pitting Survivors against a Killer in a tense game of cat and mouse. Players could choose to hunt Survivors as the Killer, sacrificing them to The Entity, or strive for survival as a Survivor, evading capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's final curtain call?

The game's servers will officially close on March 20th, 2025. While the game will remain available for download on app stores until January 16th, 2025, new downloads will cease after that date. Existing players can continue enjoying the game until the March 20th shutdown. NetEase will provide details regarding refunds, adhering to regional laws, on January 16th, 2025.

For those wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players transitioning from the mobile platform. Loyalty rewards await those who have invested time or money in the mobile game.

Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before the servers go offline and experience this chilling game for yourself. For another thrilling Android adventure, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game.
