In Their Shoes Is a Narrative Game that’s More About Listening

Set in the vibrant yet contradictory city of present-day Milan, In Their Shoes invites players to immerse themselves in the lives of seven distinct characters. The game features 49 short interactive stories, each known as a Moment, offering a brief yet profound look into a character's daily life.

Each Moment captures the essence of the character's hesitations, routines, and the split-second decisions that define their day. Some Moments unfold slowly, allowing players to sit with a character's thoughts, while others demand quick reactions, simulating the urgency of real-life situations.

The narrative structure of In Their Shoes is uniquely untidy, setting it apart from typical games in the genre. As players weave through these fragmented stories, they can uncover 26 hidden biographical details about each character, presenting a true slice-of-life experience.

We Are Muesli, based in Milan, Italy, has been at the forefront of blending art with storytelling since 2013. Known for their thought-provoking and educational projects, they've crafted experimental visual novels such as CAVE! CAVE!
